Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a technically strong Security Governance professional to bridge Security & Compliance requirements with Engineering implementation.

You will partner with Engineering, Legal, Product Security, and other stakeholders to translate governance into actionable controls and to monitor their effectiveness. The role focuses on improving risk management, ensuring controls are designed, implemented, operated, and scaled across the enterprise, including M&A risk assessments and

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience or technical background in security engineering, cloud security, product security, IAM, platform engineering, or IT governance.
• Strong understanding of security controls and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, SOX, FedRAMP or similar.
• Familiarity with AI security, AI governance, privacy and evolving global tech regulations.
• Ability to translate security, risk, regulatory or compliance requirements into technical implementation.
• Excellent collaboration with Engineering, Legal, Compliance and Security teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills for governance and risk discussions.

Responsibilities

• Support Assurance and Engineering alignment by translating governance requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Evaluate how security and compliance controls are implemented within apps, platforms, and cloud environments.
• Create an engineering feedback loop to refine controls and governance processes.
• Make regulatory expectations engineer-usable with clear technical requirements.
• Develop second-line oversight to attest controls across Salesforce engineering teams.
