Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a technically strong Security Governance professional to bridge security and compliance requirements with Engineering.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Legal, Product Security, and other stakeholders to translate governance into practical, scalable controls across platforms. You will evaluate control implementations, create feedback loops, and develop actionable requirements for Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in security engineering or related fields.
• Ability to translate security and regulatory requirements into technical implementations.
• Strong understanding of security controls and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, FedRAMP).
• Experience translating requirements to actionable engineering tasks.
• Excellent communication with engineering, legal, and compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Assurance and Engineering alignment across teams with clear governance requirements.
• Evaluate how security controls are implemented in applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
• Create feedback loops to improve control design and governance processes.
• Translate regulatory expectations into actionable technical requirements for engineering.
• Develop second-line oversight to verify controls across engineering teams.
• Understand system end-to-end to aid risk and compliance decisions.
• Assess risk in M&A and design executable activation plans tied to risk models.
• Collaborate on emerging security requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Track direction of compliance frameworks and regulatory changes.
• Support enablement, change management, and incident reviews.
