Job summary

Salesforce in the United States is seeking a Security Governance professional to bridge Security & Compliance with Engineering implementation. You will partner with Engineering, Legal, Product Security and other stakeholders to turn requirements into practical, scalable governance controls.

The role focuses on designing, operating, and scaling controls across cloud environments, and developing a second-line oversight framework with attestations and reviews to ensure risk is managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in security engineering, cloud security, product security, IAM, platform engineering or security architecture.
• Ability to translate security, risk, regulatory, or compliance requirements into technical implementation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Assurance and Engineering to ensure governance requirements are feasible and implementable.
• Evaluate control implementation across applications, platforms, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Create the engineering feedback loop to reduce friction and clarify controls.
• Translate regulatory and security expectations into clear technical requirements for engineering teams.
