Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant in the United States to lead AI-enabled laboratory projects. You will work with scientists to elicit needs, translate requirements into technical specs, and deliver end-to-end informatics solutions across GxP and non-GxP environments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage documentation, and apply Agile and waterfall methods while traveling up to 50% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in scientific and laboratory informatics in R&D or QC.
• Bachelor’s degree in a life science, computer science, or engineering.
• Two+ years in consulting preferred.
• Experience with life sciences IT and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, demonstrate, and scale AI-enabled laboratory solutions for scientists.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather and clarify needs.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development.
• Develop project documentation including use cases and design docs.
• Manage projects using waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Assist with regulatory compliance in GxP and non-GxP settings.
• Support data master and transactional data creation and migration.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing system support.
• Prepare SDLC documents such as process maps and workflows.
• Advise on data and system architectures for laboratory solutions.
• Oversee deployment of Agentic Lab capabilities and LIMS/ELN systems.
• Travel up to 50% to client locations.
