Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant to deliver AI-enabled, scalable solutions for laboratory operations. You will translate business needs into functional specifications and drive projects using waterfall and agile methods.

You will work on data architecture, SDLC documents, and regulatory compliance across GxP and non-GxP environments, while training end-users and shaping lab informatics strategies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D or QC Manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Laboratory Science/Life Science or Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience consulting (2+ years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI-enabled, scalable solutions for laboratory operations.
• Translate business needs into functional/technical specs for development.
• Create and maintain requirement specs, use cases, user stories, and designs.
• Manage projects using waterfall and agile methods.
• Ensure designs comply with GxP and non-GxP regulatory standards.
• Design, create, and migrate scientific master and transactional data.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing support for new systems.
• Prepare SDLC documents and process mappings.
• Advise on data and system architectures for lab solutions.
• Oversee integration of Lab IT solutions and IoT/cloud technologies.
