Job summary

Accenture seeks a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant to deliver AI-enabled solutions for digital laboratory operations across R&D and manufacturing. Qualifications

• 3+ years in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or CS/Engineering
• Preferred: 2+ years in consulting
• Experience with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
• Experience implementing lab solutions: Benchling, Revvity Signals, Waters CDS/SDMS, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, Scitara, TetraScience

Responsibilities

• Elicit, demonstrate, develop, and scale AI-driven solutions for laboratory scientists across the value chain
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather insights and clarify needs
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs for development and configuration of solutions
• Develop and maintain project documentation (requirements, use cases, user stories, design docs)
• Operate project management activities for waterfall and agile methodologies
• Support designs complying with regulatory standards in GxP and non-GxP environments
• Support data migration and master data management across systems
• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users on new systems and processes
• Prepare SDLC artifacts (Process Maps, Workflows, Specs, Test Scripts)
• Advise on data architectures as they relate to laboratory solutions
• Help clients capture, handle, integrate and analyze complex scientific data
• Oversee and implement digital solutions (Agentic Lab Capabilities, LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, IoT, cloud)
• Travel up to 50% to client locations
