Job summary

Accenture helps clients reinvent their digital core with AI-enabled solutions across industries, including laboratory informatics. As a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant, you will elicit, design, and scale AI-driven lab solutions, translate requirements into specs, and manage projects in agile and waterfall environments.

You will support regulatory-compliant designs (GxP/non-GxP), master data handling, and end-user training across diverse biotechnologies.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in scientific informatics or related field across R&D or QC manufacturing
Consulting experience preferred
Experience with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
Implementation experience with listed lab solutions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites

Responsibilities

Deliver AI-driven lab solutions for clients across the value chain
Conduct stakeholder interviews and sessions to gather needs
Translate business requirements into functional/technical specs
Develop project documentation: specs, use cases, user stories
Manage projects using waterfall and agile methods
Ensure designs comply with GxP and non-GxP regulations
Create and migrate scientific master and transactional data
Provide end-user training and ongoing support
Prepare SDLC documents: maps, workflows, specs, test scripts
Advise on data and system architectures for lab solutions
Lead the implementation of Agentic Lab capabilities and LIMS/ELN/CDS/SDMS/IoT/cloud
Travel up to 50% to client locations
