Job summary

Accenture in Cleveland is seeking a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant to deliver AI-enabled digital laboratory solutions across R&D and QC manufacturing. You will elicit needs, translate requirements, design technical specs, and support implementation of LIMS, ELN, CDS, and data ecosystems.

Roles involve agile/waterfall PM, training end-users, creating SDLC documents, and traveling to client sites up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D or QC manufacturing spaces
• Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Science / Life Science or Computer Science or Engineering
• 2+ years of consulting experience (preferred)
• Experience with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
• Hands-on implementation experience with listed laboratory solutions (Benchling, Revvity Signals, Waters CDS/SDMS, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, SampleManager, Scitara, TetraScience)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Elicit, demonstrate, develop, and scale AI-enabled lab solutions for scientists across the value chain
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to gather insights
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs for development and configuration
• Create and maintain project documentation (requirements, use cases, user stories, designs)
• Manage project activities in both waterfall and agile environments
• Ensure regulatory compliance in GxP and non-GxP settings
• Design and migrate scientific master data and transactional data
• Provide end-user training and ongoing system support
• Prepare SDLC documents (maps, workflows, specs, test scripts)
• Advise on data and system architectures for laboratory solutions
• Oversee and implement digital solutions (LIMS, ELN, CDS/SDMS, IoT, cloud)
• Travel up to 50% to client locations
