Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant to deliver AI-driven solutions for digital laboratory operations and scientific intelligence. You will elicit and translate requirements, create functional specs, and support project delivery across regulatory environments.

Travel up to 50% to client locations, with a background in lab informatics and consulting preferred. Your work will cover data management, SDLC, and lab automation across industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific and laboratory informatics within R&D or QC Manufacturing spaces.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science or Computer Science or Engineering.
• Preferred: minimum of 2 years of consulting experience.
• Experience in life sciences R&D, QC, or IT is desirable.
• Implementation experience with bench-to-lab informatics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated AI-powered solutions for digital laboratory operations and scientific intelligence.
• Elicit requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
• Translate business needs into functional/technical specs for development and configuration.
• Maintain project documentation: requirements, use cases, user stories, designs.
• Manage projects across waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Support design and implementation under GxP and non-GxP environments.
• Assist in data migration and master data management for scientific data.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing system support.
• Prepare SDLC documents and design workflows.
