Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with DoD, IC, and Aerospace clients. You will design and deploy tailored AI-driven Salesforce solutions and architect a planet-scale platform with reliable security and rock-solid reliability.

You will mentor engineers, lead rapid prototyping, and collaborate with mission stakeholders to translate complex needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience.
• 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects.
• Strong design, data, integration, and security architecture skills.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 25–50% to customer sites.
• Active Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on engagements—design, build, deploy Salesforce solutions for defense, intelligence, aerospace missions.
• Architect distributed systems across AWS, GCP, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), microservices (Kubernetes, Docker), and data pipelines.
• Deliver production-grade software with AI integration and secure, optimized code."
• Lead prototyping, root cause analysis, and evangelize best practices across teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and model technical leadership for the organization.
