Job summary

Epicor seeks a Senior Product Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software across the full lifecycle. You will leverage AI-assisted development to boost delivery speed, quality, and productivity while building scalable cloud-native applications.

You will mentor peers, participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. A BS in CS/Engineering/IT is preferred and a passion for continuous learning is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering and modern application development experience.
• 2+ years in cloud technologies or AI-assisted development with cloud providers.
• Proven expertise in languages such as Python, C#, Node.js and related frameworks.
• Experience with design, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, secure coding and Agile delivery.
• Ability to use AI coding tools and coding agents to improve productivity.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain scalable applications, services, APIs, and frameworks.
• Participate in architecture discussions, reviews, and technical solution assessments.
• Leverage AI-assisted practices to improve delivery speed, code quality and testing effectiveness.
• Review code for maintainability, performance, security and adherence to standards.
• Build tooling and automation to enhance release readiness and developer productivity.
• Mentor developers through guidance, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Estimate work, identify risks, and deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
