Job summary

Epiq AI Labs in New York seeks a Legal Solutions Engineer to bridge law and technology. You will lead legal discussions, tailor demos, and define POC success criteria, partnering with Sales and clients across regions including EMEA and APAC.

You will translate complex legal workflows into concrete POC requirements, collaborate with general counsel and law firm partners, and ensure clean handoffs to Forward-Deployed engineers.

Qualifications

• A US JD, or a US LLM with a US bar membership.
• 2–8+ years of legal practice with client-facing or legal-tech sales experience.
• Credibility with partners and general counsel and comfort presenting and scoping.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain terms.
• Translate a legal team's workflow into what the product must prove in a POC.
• Strong discovery skills: ask the right questions and connect findings to the platform.
• Daily use of AI in your own work with interview-ready examples.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with prospects alongside Sales and Epiq Global account directors.
• Build demos and legal materials reflecting each prospect's practice area and data.
• Link prospects' legal obligations and workflows to platform capabilities.
• Design POC plans with use cases, stakeholders, data, and timelines.
• Hand off to a Forward-Deployed Legal Engineer at POC kickoff.
• Scope new use cases or practice groups with Sales and Customer Success Managers.
• Provide trusted, straight-decision guidance about AI capabilities.
