Job summary

xAI is building a world-class Forward Deployed Engineering team to deliver production-grade solutions for Enterprise and Indie developers using the X API platform. You will craft sample apps, improve DevEx tooling, and author comprehensive guides to enable rapid adoption and value realization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (enterprise)
• Production-grade code in frontend and backend (Python, JS/TS, Java)
• Strong API design knowledge: REST/GraphQL, real-time streaming
• Experience building developer-facing assets and documentation
• Passion for developer experience and removing friction
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders to align objectives
• Excellent project management and autonomous execution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise customers to understand business needs and build solutions
• Design and maintain sample applications, starter kits, and reference implementations
• Build and improve DevEx tools: SDKs, CLIs, sandbox environments
• Write how-to guides, tutorials, and technical content for APIs, AI, and real-time use cases
• Audit and improve documentation, onboarding flows, and code samples
• Gather customer feedback and influence product roadmap and priorities
• Troubleshoot complex issues and develop long-term solutions
• Create scalable materials to accelerate partner and self-serve success
