Job summary

Aumnitech LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join client-embedded projects and ship production code against real systems. You will work directly with customer environments and data to deliver robust software in real-time settings.

In this senior role, you’ll turn evolving requirements into working software fast, build custom integrations and AI features, and serve as the technical face of the engagement. Travel or on-site work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production engineering experience shipping code to customer environments.
• Strong full-stack or backend development skills capable of producing production-grade code under time pressure.
• Fluency with LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems and how to adapt them to customer constraints.
• Comfort with ambiguous requirements and defensible decision-making without long approvals.
• Willingness to travel or work on-site as required.

Forward Deployed Engineer

Level: Senior Regions: US Middle East India

Embeds directly with a client, ships production code against their real systems, and owns the gap between what a platform can do in general and what one customer needs right now.

What you’ll do

• Embed with a client team to ship production code directly against their real systems and data
• Turn a client’s messy, evolving requirements into working software fast, without a formal spec
• Build and iterate on custom integrations and AI features inside a client’s environment
• Act as the technical face of the engagement, fielding questions and making real-time architecture calls
• Own the handoff from pilot to production, including documentation and knowledge transfer

What you bring

• 5+ years of production engineering experience, shipping code directly against customer environments
• Strong full-stack or backend skills, with the ability to write production-grade code under time pressure
• Working fluency in LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems, and how to adapt them to a client’s constraints
• Comfortable owning ambiguous requirements and making a defensible call without a long approval chain
• Strong client-facing communication skills, plus willingness to travel or work on-site as required

Nice to have

• Prior experience at a frontier AI lab, applied-AI startup, or systems integrator in a client-embedded role
• Domain depth in a regulated or complex environment such as healthcare, defense, or financial services
