Job summary

Stealth Startup in San Francisco is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering and customer success for our AI developer platform.

You’ll partner directly with customer engineering teams to understand their workflows, integrate the product, troubleshoot real-world environments, and translate customer feedback into product improvements. This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical role.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background across multiple languages and frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Comfortable explaining technical concepts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and integrate the AI coding platform into customer codebases and workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real-world environments.
• Build custom scripts and lightweight tooling to accelerate value.
• Share customer usage patterns and feature requests with product and engineering teams.
• Lead technical demos and proof-of-concept implementations.
• Develop playbooks for successful customer adoption.
