Job summary

Granica is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer / Sales Engineer in Mountain View, CA (On-site) to lead technical engagements with enterprise customers from discovery through deployment.

You will work with data platform teams, engineers, and executives to understand environments, identify high-value use cases, design proofs of value, and demonstrate measurable technical and economic impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering or similar customer-facing role.
• Hands-on Spark expertise with production workloads.
• Strong SQL and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise data teams.
• Design and execute proofs of value with clear success criteria.
• Deploy Granica in complex customer environments.
• Analyze performance, reliability, and costs for data platforms.
• Present technical findings to engineering and executive stakeholders.
• Translate customer feedback into product and engineering priorities.
