Job summary

SCALIS is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team in a technical, customer-facing role spanning customer success, engineering, product, and go-to-market. You will own onboarding, adoption, and ongoing success, configure Reflow for real-life use cases, and deliver value through data-driven insights.

You will work hands-on with customers to build integrations and proofs of value, debug data issues, and capture feedback for product improvements.

Qualifications

• Technical background in engineering, data, or systems roles.
• Experience writing code and working with APIs.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer journey: Setup, onboarding, adoption, and long-term success.
• Shorten time-to-value: Move customers from demo to value quickly.
• Work hands-on with customers to configure Reflow for real-life use cases and turn data into meaningful information for business decisions.
• Build integrations, data pipelines, prototypes, and proofs of value for strategic customers.
• Debug data issues, model behavior, and system performance in live environments.
• Capture and structure customer feedback: be the voice of the user in product and engineering decisions.
• Partner with product and engineering to surface gaps, edge cases, and feature opportunities.
• Assist the contract process with new partners, working with legal to keep things smooth and fast.
• Build strong relationships that lead to expansions and renewals.
• Create and refine the playbook: onboarding processes, success metrics, touchpoints.
