Chakra Labs is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our fast-moving team on-site in Flatiron, Manhattan, NYC. You will bridge the platform with frontier AI lab customers, shaping data, building dashboards, and crafting RL task samples under tight timelines.

The role requires 2-5 years of full-stack software engineering in dynamic environments, with hands-on work across TypeScript, Python, Go, and cloud stack (AWS/EKS). On-site collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of full-stack software engineering in fast-paced environments.
• Fast-moving generalist comfortable with ad hoc customer requests on tight timelines.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Go; experience with Vercel and Supabase; AWS/EKS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Shape data created by human experts to fit frontier AI lab customer requirements.
• Build quick plugins, features, or temporary improvements to data-collection systems.
• Handcraft reinforcement learning task samples tailored to customer needs.
