Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a global enterprise technology and IT consulting leader, seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver Agentic AI solutions within client environments. This hands-on role collaborates with business users to translate processes into production AI workflows.

Responsibilities include designing, configuring, and implementing AI workflows and agents; building integrations and data flows; and supporting adoption across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software/application development, automation engineering, integration engineering, or a similar hands-on technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, AI agents, GenAI applications, or agent-enabled workflows.
• Experience with technologies such as LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, MCP, or similar Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience building APIs, integrations, workflow automation, or orchestration solutions.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to work directly with non-technical business users and translate business processes into working technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.

This is a hands‑on engineering role for someone who can work closely with business users to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for AI‑enabled automation, and turn those use cases into working production solutions.

• Previous consulting, client‑facing engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering experience
