Job summary

Velocity Tech is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our growing team in the United States. You will work closely with stakeholders to design practical AI solutions and deploy them into production environments with enterprise readiness.

This role emphasizes hands-on development, cross-team collaboration and delivering tangible impact for clients. You will build, deploy and operate agentic AI systems, integrate with APIs and enterprise platforms, and orchestrate LLM

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Experience building agentic AI platforms and multi-agent systems with LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen.
• Strong understanding of LLM orchestration, RAG, tool use, memory and AI-driven workflows.
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, enterprise platforms, data sources and cloud services.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, with the ability to deploy and operate production workloads.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, iterative environments.

We’ve partnered with an innovative US-based technology company that is looking for an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join their growing team.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of agentic AI, building and deploying sophisticated AI solutions directly within client environments. You’ll play a key role in helping organisations move beyond experimentation and turn LLMs and AI agents into scalable, production-ready systems.

The Role

As an FDE, you’ll work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to understand complex challenges, design practical AI solutions, and deploy them into real-world enterprise environments.

You’ll be responsible for building solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems, data platforms and cloud infrastructure, working hands-on from initial concept through to production deployment.

This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working at pace, and seeing the direct impact of the solutions they build.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience, ideally at Senior or equivalent level.
• Proven experience building agentic AI platforms and multi-agent systems, using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI or AutoGen.
• Strong understanding of LLM orchestration, RAG, tool use, memory and AI-driven workflows.
• Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, enterprise platforms, data sources and cloud services.
