Job summary

Foundr, LLC in San Francisco is seeking a hands-on engineer to own customer relationships and deliver AI integration work from day one. You will translate field learnings into scalable product improvements and help shape agent evaluation standards.

You will manage end-to-end delivery, scope tests and interfaces, and decide when a customer fits the product or when a workaround is needed in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own your book of customers within weeks, each paired with a commercial lead.
• Deliver end-to-end: scope tests, work through auth and interfaces, wire agents into the eval system.
• Handle one-off integrations when a customer doesn't fit the product yet.
• Deliver results directly and decide if an agent meets the certification standard.
• Turn field learnings into product improvements for evaluations without an engineer in the loop.

What you'll own

Who we're looking for

• 3–7 years as an early startup engineer who ended up owning customers, or in a solutions, integration or forward-deployed role
• Builds and debugs integrations yourself, and knows when the scrappy version is the right call
• Owns the customer relationship: scopes work, sets expectations, delivers bad news early
• Turns what you see in the field into reusable product instead of solving the same problem twice
• Bonus: founder experience, AI evals or red-teaming
