Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Embedded Engineer, AI Solutions to join the forward-deployed engineering team. You will partner with customers to discover workflows, model data, and build AI agents and services inside customer environments to drive measurable outcomes.

You will write production code for AI agents, MCP servers, and knowledge-graph extensions, delivering tangible improvements in Design & Make workflows. Travel up to 75% is expected during active engagements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and operating production software, including 2+ in a customer-facing or embedded role.
• Full-stack range with Python plus TypeScript/Java/C# and frontend React surface.
• Cloud fluency in Azure or AWS with containers, serverless, and IAM.
• Agentic systems in production with memory, MLP agents, and orchestration.
• Evaluation as engineering with golden datasets and eval harnesses.
• Knowledge architecture for AI with ontologies and knowledge graphs.

Responsibilities

• Translate objectives into AI-enabled workflow outcomes with stakeholders.
• Lead co-innovation with customers to identify high-value workflows and data needs.
• Analyze end-to-end workflows to find friction and AI opportunities.
• Own end-to-end technical execution from prototype to deployment.
• Define operating model, ownership, and cost for assets post-engagement.
