Job summary

ROI-AI is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer to take a new customer from signed contract to Roy live and actively disputing, owning the technical delivery until the account is healthy.

You will work across ERP, mailboxes, and retailer portals, and be augmented by internal tooling to focus on core integrations and the hard parts of setup. You’ll balance debugging connections with customer-facing coordination to drive successful deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with customer-facing or deployment experience.
• Strong Python and SQL; comfortable with APIs and relational data.
• Proven ability to integrate software into a customer's existing systems and real-world data.
• Excellent communication with finance/operations teams and technical teams.
• Self-directed with high ownership, thrives in ambiguity, responsible for go-live.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding end to end: provision org, connect ERP, mailboxes, portals, and get Roy live.
• Wire up data and evidence: set up intake from ERPs, mailboxes, portals; ensure evidence flows.
• Handle messy integrations: ERP databases, mailbox intake, portal access, EDI feeds; diagnose and fix issues.
• Own pilot health and recovery: monitor throughput and ensure Roy disputes land successfully.
• Be the technical point of contact: translate operational reality into configuration and tickets.
• Improve delivery: provide root-cause fixes to accelerate onboarding for new customers.
