Job summary

Recruiting From Scratch is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build production integrations and data pipelines for major US retailers. You will work closely with enterprise customers across the US, balancing product and engineering efforts in a fast-paced environment.

The role allows US East Coast hours with optional Atlanta office presence, and requires up to 30% travel to customer sites. Strong coding and data capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production software and data pipelines.
• Experience with enterprise customers or technical stakeholders is required.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and system design.

Responsibilities

• Write production code daily to build and deploy customer-specific integrations and solutions
• Spend roughly 70% of time building production software and data infrastructure
• Build data pipelines for major retail and grocery customers
• Develop AI-driven solutions for enterprise planning workflows
• Serve as the primary technical contact for 2–3 enterprise customers
• Collaborate with VP-level to store and operations teams to gather requirements
• Prototype solutions with customers and transition to production
