Job summary

OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team is hiring to own end-to-end deployments of AI models within healthcare organizations, including payers and providers. You will lead discovery, architecture, implementation, evaluation, and production deployment while ensuring PHI privacy and regulatory compliance.

You will work with customer engineers and internal teams to translate complex workflows into measurable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software/ML engineering, deployment experience in healthcare contexts would be ideal.
• Experience leading end-to-end deployments and owning technical outcomes in customer-facing projects.
• Ability to translate complex healthcare workflows into production AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployments of models within healthcare organizations.
• Lead discovery, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, and handoff.
• Collaborate with customer technical/operational teams and internal partners to deliver solutions.
• Build production AI applications with healthcare data interfaces and governance considerations.
