Job summary

Coupa seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to architect AI-driven procurement and finance solutions. You will translate business intents into scalable, state-machine workflows using Coupa Compose, integrating with ERP/CRM ecosystems and ensuring secure, high‑quality deployments.

Key focus areas include agent orchestration, model tuning, and embedding open extensibility frameworks. This role demands collaboration with Product and Services teams on global implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical integration with REST/GraphQL and JSON.
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js).
• Knowledge of S2P (Source-to-Pay) domain and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on with MCP or LangChain for agent orchestrations.

Responsibilities

• Engineer AI agentic workflows and orchestration across multiple LLMs.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems (ERP/CRM) securely.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine tech requirements.
• Design deterministic, state-machine based procurement/finance flows.
• Ensure guardrails, testing, and monitoring of AI automation.
