Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-first solutions across enterprise environments.

This role blends deep technical mastery with business insight to solve complex challenges through Generative AI, intelligent automation, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will partner with executive stakeholders, translate business problems into scalable architectures, and deliver rapid prototypes while driving adoption of AI

Qualifications

• 12+ years of combined industry and technology experience.
• Functional expertise in Finance and Accounting; Manufacturing, Plant Maintenance, MES, or PLM; FMCG; or Agribusiness/Commodities/Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini.
• Experience with prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agent development, and multi-agent orchestration using LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Proficiency in at least one additional programming language.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and enterprise data; experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP (Azure preferred).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and cloud-native app development.
• Understanding enterprise security principles and API integration.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM or SAP/Salesforce/trading platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-architecture skills.
• Excellent communication with executives and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and design AI-driven solutions.
• Lead end-to-end solution engagements from discovery to deployment and adoption.
• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions including LLM-based agents and RAG pipelines.
• Translate business problems into scalable architectures and actionable plans.
• Develop rapid prototypes and production-ready solutions using Agile practices.
• Architect and implement AI agent frameworks and multi-agent orchestration.
• Design enterprise data pipelines, data models, and analytics supporting AI apps.
• Build cloud-native applications and integrate enterprise systems via APIs.
• Collaborate with leadership and teams to drive transformation initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, solution architecture guidance, and mentorship.
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and implementation playbooks.
• Communicate trade-offs, risks, and business value to stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of emerging AI technologies and engineering best practices.
