JeffreyM Consulting, LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a fast-growing tech company building AI-powered software for manufacturing and procurement. You will own deployments from kickoff through go-live, work directly with customers across industries, and write production code, build integrations, and troubleshoot data flows.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, or related roles.
• Strong foundation in CS/Software Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Experience shipping production-quality code and working with modern web tech.
• Experience with TypeScript/React/Next.js/GraphQL/PostgreSQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own deployments from kickoff through data migration and go-live.
• Build and support integrations with ERP, PLM, MES, and other systems.
• Write production-quality code and develop customer-specific solutions.
• Validate data flows and troubleshoot API, auth, and payload issues.
• Write SQL/GraphQL to verify migrations and analytics.
• Configure workflows for procurement and supplier onboarding.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve blockers.
• Translate customer needs into product/engineering requirements.
• Create repeatable deployment processes and onboarding playbooks.
