A rapidly growing, venture-backed AI startup that is transforming the building materials industry through AI-powered workflow automation recently raised $42M and is hiring several Forward Deployed AI Engineers. They are open to both early-career and mid-level engineers who want significant ownership and the opportunity to solve real-world problems with customers.

The ideal candidate(s) will have a strong software engineering background and enjoy working directly with customers to solve complex, ambiguous problems. This role will involve owning technical deployments end-to-end and building solutions that leverage AI and modern software technologies to improve real-world business operations.

Preferred:

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and deploying production applications
• Experience working with Python and modern backend technologies
• Background with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience working directly with customers or in a client-facing engineering role
• Ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions
• Comfortable owning projects and deployments from initial discovery through production
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

Bonus:

• Experience with AI/ML or deploying AI-powered applications
• Background in computer vision, robotics, automation, or industrial technology
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced engineering environment
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Masters in Computer Science or related field
