Job summary

Fin is seeking Forward Deployed Software Engineers to bridge customer needs and product innovation. You will work hands-on with Intercom’s AI Agent for customer service, partnering with R&D and GTM teams to design and deliver high-impact solutions.

You will own projects from conception to deployment, shaping product direction and roadmaps while delivering measurable business outcomes for strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with CS/Math/Software Engineering or Physics.
• Experience building a SaaS product with real-world usage.
• Interest in AI/ML and quick grasp of novel problems and architectures.
• Cross-functional collaboration to achieve customer outcomes and product goals.
• Proficient in at least one high-level language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
• Able to prototype and ship software quickly with a focus on business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Fin by helping prospects unlock Intercom AI capabilities.
• Embed with strategic customers to understand business and technical needs.
• Code with customers' technical teams to deliver projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Sales, Success, and Product for seamless experiences and feedback.
• Codify best practices and share insights to scale the team.
