Job summary

Vekend is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to design and deploy core data platform capabilities. You will prototype rapidly, maintain enterprise-grade quality, and deliver AI-ready data structures via APIs.

You will own architecture, lead integration with enterprise tools, and develop agentic solutions using modern AI and data engineering practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in Python backend development and data engineering.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies, data pipelines, and API design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of data/AI solutions from discovery to technical blueprint.
• Define architecture decisions and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Build scalable, production-ready data and AI capabilities with solid documentation.
