Job description

Fortiva Sales Account Manager - Direct Swine (Finance)

Fortiva Additives is seeking a Sales Account Manager. Our continuous exploration and ecosystem of exclusive global partners is creating the next generation of unique, targeted feed additives that improve animal performance, health, and welfare. This position will focus on swine feed additive sales with our large integrators/influencers.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Achieve sales growth with assigned accounts and across all channels for Fortiva additives.
  2. Develop and execute account growth plans, including sales forecasting, producer meetings, and support programs.
  3. Leverage resources, cultivate relationships, and grow networks to identify opportunities to drive additive sales.
  4. Contribute to innovation and marketing pipelines by providing customer insights.
  5. Develop proficiency in nutrition, production management, and sales skills through training and verified sales results.
  6. Conduct producer events promoting best practices for additive technologies, including proof field trials demonstrating product efficacy.
  7. Participate in industry events to increase awareness of Land O'Lakes Fortiva Additives.
  8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 3 years of experience in feed additive or animal health account management within the livestock industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (MS, DVM, Ph.D.) in Animal Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or Immunology.
  • Understanding of the impacts of additives on health and performance.
  • Experience presenting complex technology and concepts clearly.
  • Formulation experience.
Required Competencies:

  • Ability to multitask and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
  • Continuous learner with an innovative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.

Base Salary: $105,040 - $157,560

Travel: 50%-80%. This role is remote and open to various locations.
