Job summary

Texas AirSystems in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to learn all aspects of our products and systems, coordinating submittals, equipment selection, pricing and ship dates for each project.

You will work closely with the Sales Team, Customers and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion and maintain high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role reports to the Account Manager/Account Executive or Sales Leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Knowledge of MEP consulting, architecture, design, CAD and contracting is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, handle ambiguity and manage high-volume projects.
• Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job files for each project throughout its duration.
• Optimize projects through product selection, specs, plans, estimates, proposals and value engineering.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Organize project data for order entry and respond to submittal requests.
• Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
