Job summary

Tyto Athene is seeking a Desktop Support Level II in Fort Worth, TX, to provide end-user support for PCs, servers, and peripherals under a multi-year Air Force Reserve Command IT services contract.

The role requires experience in installation, diagnostics, upgrades, and strong problem-solving abilities, with both in-person and remote support capabilities. Active DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexity.
• Experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent (IT Support, IT Tech, etc.).
• Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.
• Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.
• Excellent vertical and lateral thinking.
• Superb time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Forbearing, flexible, and supportive.
• On site support in Fort Worth, TX.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
• Perform configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripherals.
• May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
• Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.
• Maintain currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.
