Job summary

Skillit is hiring a Formwork Carpenter in Fayetteville, GA to build and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns and slabs. You will read drawings, measure and cut lumber, install anchor bolts and embed plates, and ensure forms are plumb and level before concrete placement.

You will work with concrete crews on-site, follow safety rules, and maintain accurate layouts while handling hand and power tools safely. This is a full-time day-shift role in a local Fayetteville area project.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints or sketches.
• Read tape measures and layout to plan formwork.
• Use hand/power tools safely to cut, fit and assemble formwork.
• Follow site safety rules and work with concrete crews.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install and dismantle concrete formwork for foundations, walls, columns and slabs.
• Measure, mark, cut and fit lumber, plywood and form components to plan dimensions.
• Install anchor bolts, steel embed plates and fixtures into formwork per drawings.
• Set forms to required level and alignment; verify layout before pour.
• Remove formwork after concrete has cured and protect finished surfaces.

About this roleJoin a local construction crew in Fayetteville, GA as a Formwork Carpenter. You will build, assemble and strip formwork for foundations, walls, columns and slabs, set anchor bolts and embed plates, and ensure forms are plumb, level and aligned before concrete placement. This is a hands-on, full-time day-shift role for someone who reads drawings, measures and cuts accurately, and uses hand and power tools safely.
