Job summary

Skillit is seeking experienced concrete carpenters in the Cincinnati, OH area to build, assemble, and finish concrete formwork for commercial and government projects. You’ll work on-site with a crew to lay out forms, read drawings, and ensure accurate form systems for pours.

This per diem position offers relocation or travel assistance for qualified candidates, opportunities for extended assignments, and site-provided safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with concrete formwork carpentry and general concrete work.
• Skilled in reading drawings, site layout, and measuring/cutting.
• Able to work on active job sites and follow site safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Build, set up and strip concrete forms for walls, footings, slabs, and columns.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and as-built notes.
• Perform site layout, measuring and cutting to ensure accurate form alignment.
• Collaborate with crew members and concrete crews during placement and topping.
• Inspect and maintain forms and form hardware to ensure quality and safety.

About this roleLooking for experienced concrete carpenters in the Cincinnati, OH area to build, assemble, and finish concrete formwork for commercial and government projects. You'll work on-site with a crew to lay out forms, read drawings, and ensure accurate, solid form systems for concrete pours. This is a per diem position open to workers willing to relocate. Candidates must be practical, safety-minded, and fluent in English and Spanish.
