Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is seeking a laboratory technician to prepare article dosage solutions and related formulations for toxicology studies. You will ensure procedures are standardized, documented, and executed with precision.

Responsibilities include labeling, receiving reagents, maintaining inventory, and assisting with shipments. A Bachelor’s degree and up to 2 years of experience are typical; GMP/GLP familiarity is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent.
• 0–2 years' experience.
• GMP/GLP knowledge preferred; attention to detail and accurate record keeping are key.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test article/dosage solutions and ensure procedures are standardized and recorded.
• Prepare labels and samples.
• Receive all incoming test articles and reagents.
• Ensure documentation for usage of test articles and vehicles is accurate.
• Ship samples and maintain inventory of reagents and items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Formulations Laboratory.
• Return test articles to sponsor or reassign to another protocol.
• Support QA audits of procedures and calculations.
• Submit chemistry data for weekly review.
• Prepare accurate packing lists for shipments to sponsor or laboratory.
