Job summary

Charles River Laboratories in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform basic procedures, collect and document data, and support GLP-compliant studies under supervision. The role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced research environment and exposure to LCMS workflows within a collaborative team.

A Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field and zero–two years of lab experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in biology, chemistry, or related field.
• Zero to two years of lab experience; GLP experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory procedures and collect and record data per GLPs, SOPs, and study protocols.
• Under supervision may act as lead/primary technician on basic studies.
• Input, print and edit computer entries for laboratory data.
• Prepare materials and data for shipment and archiving.
• Receive samples and complete tracking documentation.
• Review documentation for quality control requirements.
• Maintain clean work areas and perform study preparation activities including labeling and room setup.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
