Job summary

Charles River in Mattawan, MI is seeking a Research Analyst I for the Formulations Team. The role involves following detailed instructions to manipulate supplied compounds and produce quality formulations under protocol requirements in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires an Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in chemistry/pharmacy and 3–5 years’ related formulation experience; Bachelor’s degree desired.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in chemistry/pharmacy or related discipline preferred. Bachelor’s degree desired.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions to manipulate compounds and prepare quality formulations per protocol.
• Document all procedures, materials and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with sterilization, washing of glassware, and lab cleanliness as needed.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain laboratory space and equipment.
