Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Formulation Technician to support tank and material preparation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the United States. You will handle weighing, labeling, staging materials, and ensure strict adherence to procedures and formulas.

You will inspect materials, maintain the mixing rooms, and perform routine cleaning and safety-focused tasks while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Training and teamwork are emphasized from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year manufacturing experience (preferred).
• CRC (Career Readiness Certification) Silver Level preferred.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand safety and quality instructions and work instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• PIT Operator Certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Formulate tanks by weighing, labeling and staging materials per procedures.
• Inspect, clean and re-palletize raw materials from the warehouse.
• Own Mixing and Tank Rooms to follow cGMPs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance in the Mixing Complex.
• Promote safety in the area and environment.
• Identify and fix inefficiencies or quality concerns in Mixing equipment/processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in Mixing area and process.
• Transport staged materials using a PIT to mixing tanks.
• Blend raw materials into chemical solution in mixing tanks.
• Document scheduled cleaning and climb into tanks with safety gear as needed.
• Navigate POMS to manage batch information throughout mixing.
• Obtain samples and perform scheduled quality checks.
• Notify supervisor of safety/quality/mechanical issues and take action.
