Baxter, located in Marion, NC, seeks a Formulation Technician to support tank formulation, material handling, and quality checks. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with emphasis on cGMP, safety, and continuous improvement. Training is provided, with growth opportunities across manufacturing shifts.

The role includes hands-on responsibilities in mixing, material handling, and batch documentation, plus benefits and a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CRC Silver preferred.
• Basic English for written and oral communication.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and read work instructions.
• PIT operator certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Formulate tanks, weighing, labeling, and staging materials per procedures.
• Inspect and re-palletize raw materials from warehouse.
• Own Mixing and Tank Rooms to ensure cGMP adherence.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance in the Mixing Complex.
• Promote safety culture and monitor equipment quality.
• Investigate inefficiencies or quality concerns in mixing processes.
• Develop and apply continuous improvement in mixing area and processes.
• Operate PIT to move staged materials to mixing tanks.
• Blend raw materials and manage chemical mixing tanks.
• Conduct scheduled cleaning inside tanks using ladders/safety gear.
• Navigate POMS to manage batch data throughout mixing.
• Obtain samples and perform scheduled quality checks.
• Escalate safety or quality issues to supervisor.
• Learn and apply cGMP, SOPs, and 6S in the work area.
