Job summary

Isomorphic Labs is seeking a Formulation expert to advance drug discovery through expert formulation development and cross-functional collaboration. This role supports DDMR and preclinical programs with a focus on small molecule formulations and IND-ready packaging.

You will work closely with AI/ML drug design platform teams, CRO partners, and internal groups to drive rapid progression of multiple projects, contributing technical leadership and strategic direction across discovery to preclinical

Qualifications

• PhD in pharmaceutical science or related field; equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in biotech/pharma setting.
• Proven development of oral solid dosage forms.
• Experience supporting IND packages.
• Deep knowledge of preformulation, manufacturing processes and advanced drug delivery technologies.
• Strong understanding of ICH and FDA guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute (pre)-formulation strategies for small molecules across discovery to preclinical development.
• Design and refine formulation technologies to optimise solubility, stability and manufacturability.
• Oversee stability studies per ICH/ASAP; implement strict in-process controls.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary preclinical teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, and regulatory submissions in line with internal policies.
