Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Formulation Technician in Newark, DE to support an R&D toxicology team. You will prepare and evaluate formulations for in vivo and in vitro studies, focusing on target concentrations, homogeneity, and stability.

This hands-on role offers extensive training and opportunities to build wet chemistry skills. Ideal candidates may be recent graduates or early-career scientists with a Chemistry/Biochemistry background and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field preferred.
• Open to recent grads with no professional lab experience.
• Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques and basic lab concepts.
• Willingness to learn and develop formulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare formulations for future products and reformulations for research studies.
• Develop rodent diet formulations ensuring target concentrations and homogeneity.
• Perform wet chemistry tasks: pH, weighing, pipetting, dilutions, solution prep.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and ensure accurate, stable formulations.
• Perform frequent, accurate pipetting with electronic tools.
• Manage test substances: receive, track, store, distribute, dispose per SOPs.
