Job summary

Mykelly is seeking a Formulation Laboratory Technician in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports development and evaluation of biological and chemical formulations, working with scientists to prepare, test, and optimize products from concept to commercialization.

Responsibilities include lab experiments, data analysis, and collaboration across teams to drive formulation advancement, scale-up, and technology transfer while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline as listed.
• Laboratory experience through industry, internships, research, or coursework.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and formulation development preferred.
• Experience with lab equipment such as mixers, blenders, mills, liquid handlers, or similar instrumentation.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate biological and chemical formulations using established lab procedures.
• Assist with analytical testing and method development to support product performance.
• Operate lab equipment including mixers, blenders, mills, liquid handlers, and other formulation equipment.
• Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, document findings in reports.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to support R&D initiatives.
• Assist with technology transfer, manufacturing support, and product scale-up activities.
• Maintain accurate lab documentation and ensure safety and quality standards compliance.
• Support investigations related to product quality and formulation performance.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and contribute ideas for improvement.
