Job summary

TradeWorX is seeking Form Carpenters for commercial concrete projects in the greater Pittsburgh area. You will build, set, brace, align and strip concrete forms, reading blueprints and elevations to create forms for footers, foundations, walls and slabs.

Experience with commercial formwork and safety-conscious outdoor work is required. Ideal candidates read layouts well, can work from prints, and contribute to formwork that holds line, grade and elevation during pours.

• Ability to read blueprints, layouts and elevations.
• Capable of accurate measurements and layout information.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the greater Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities

• Build, set, brace, align and strip concrete forms.
• Read blueprints, elevations and layout information to construct formwork.
• Cut and assemble lumber and form materials with accuracy.
• Install stakes, kickers, walers and bracing as required.
• Assist with concrete placement, rebar and embeds as needed.
