The Forklift Yard Worker / Paint role focuses on safely operating sit-down forklifts in a busy yard environment to support steel receiving, production, and shipping activities. You prepare incoming steel for welders, organize pallets for intake, palletize finished products for outgoing shipments, and stage materials for truck pickups. You also lay out finished product in the paint area using a combination of manual handling, forklift, and hoist, assist with inventory counts, and help other departments as needed.
You join a team-oriented, family-focused organization that values every employee and strives to ensure people feel supported and satisfied at work. You benefit from paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan, all within a culture that emphasizes respect, fairness, and long‑term employee well‑being.
This is a full‑time role on a production‑oriented schedule, typically working from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with overtime available after the regular shift and occasional Saturdays as needed.
