Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a skilled Warehouse Equipment Operator in North Chesterfield, VA to join our team. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, picking, and loading product using power equipment, while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy.

You will be expected to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, perform daily equipment inspections, and uphold OSHA standards. Prior experience with powered equipment and basic math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 6 months prior work experience is a plus.
• Prior Powered Industrial Equipment preferred.
• Able to speak clearly and listen attentively.
• Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers and remembering their sequence; good basic math skills and ability to identify numeric/alphanumeric sequences for placing product.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using power equipment.
• Receive/Putaway - unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Order Picking - pull and prepare product for shipment; ensure correct quantity.
• Loading - move product into trailers or containers.
• Quality - ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances.
• Inventory - maintain records, assist in physical inventories, ensure stock rotation.
• Safety, Housekeeping, Security: maintain clean work area and comply with safety standards.
• Support and abide by the safety program and policies.
• Job standards may change with equipment, materials, and procedures.
