Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, energetic individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. You will help customers, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate delivery and pickup of goods at the storage facility.

The role includes documentation, inspections, and maintaining a clean, secure warehouse environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to comply with safety and vehicular regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Adhere to local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery.
• Provide customer assistance, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U‑Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide documentation for delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure storage facility is clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
