Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly and energetic Warehouse Workers in Tampa to join a team delivering reliable service to customers. You will operate forklifts, assist customers, and coordinate deliveries and pickups at a busy storage facility, while maintaining safety and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Training is provided for forklift operation, with opportunities for career growth and company-supported education programs.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic and motivated to interact with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to operate or learn forklift operations safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery and provide customer assistance, including sales of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure warehouse storage facility is clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
