Job summary

Stratosphere Quality seeks a Tugger Operator in Lincoln, AL to load/unload materials and move them between storage and loading docks. The role emphasizes safe operation of powered industrial trucks and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, OSHA compliance, equipment inspections, and timely execution of tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift certification; a clean driving record may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required

Responsibilities

• Operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and moves them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks into trucks or storage facilities.
• Loads and unloads product; efficiently and safely stacking/storing product
• Moves product from staging or storage areas to designated areas in the facility
• Ensures accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments
• Maintains appropriate records/reports to guarantee accuracy and inventory
• Assists with physical inventory
• Complies with all OSHA and MSDS Standards
• Performs daily equipment checks and maintains maintenance log
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintains a clean & safe environment
• All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
